 Barney and Maenette LaRue have been in the game call business since 1982. We added Deer Hollow Ranch, 500+ acres in the heart of the Ozarks in northwestern Arkansas, with guided archery, muzzle-load, and modern gun hunts for free ranging white-tail deer in 1995. Our most recent addition, in 2003, is the rental cabins for our hunters, but mostly for anyone who wishes to have some time away from work, home, or the city to visit and enjoy the beautiful Ozarks.
 I, Barney, use to be a tool and die worker at a local manufacturing company and have the skills to design and build my calls. I started hunting as a young boy in the Ozarks not far from the ranch and continue to hunt here and many other states today. My wife, Maenette also known as “Lil’ Red” has developed a knowledge and love of hunting over the years. After her recent retirement after 28 years of teaching at a local school she now has more time to hunt, cook for the hunters and me, and manage the new cabins, but most important keep me on my toes.
We are looking forward to seeing you at our ranch for a break from the hectic life or simply to hunt white-tail deer in the beautiful Ozarks.
